Subsurface was built from experience.

In 2008, Lloyd Gomez founded Bass Brigade, translating a deep connection to bass fishing into a culture-driven apparel brand rooted in storytelling, design, and community. What began as a passion project evolved into an internationally recognized lifestyle label built through early social platforms and authentic content.

A decade of building — and rebuilding — expanded that perspective.

SBSRFC® was created as a broader platform. Not confined to a single world, but shaped by many: music, fashion, automotive culture, the outdoors, and multidisciplinary design.

Subsurface reflects the belief that culture is not manufactured — it’s lived. It’s built through repetition, refinement, and time.
